GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — What do dominoes and hundreds of boxes of cereal have in common?
A local elementary school in Grand Island will tell you as they took domino toppling to the next level while also donating over 400 boxes to local charities.
In a recent Facebook post by Gates Elementary in Grand Island, Neb. they posted photos and a video saying the Gates Cereal Box Challenge was a success. The photos showed the over 400 hundred boxes of cereal donated by parents and Hy-vee being toppled over like dominoes.
They say the cereal boxes will be donated to Hope Harbor and the Salvation Army.
