Stabbing victim arrested for Wyoming warrant

The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stab wound at Kimball Health Services and upon further investigation, determined the victim was wanted out of Campbell County, Wyo.

KIMBALL, Neb. (News Channel Nebraska) - The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stab wound at Kimball Health Services and upon further investigation, determined the victim was wanted out of Campbell County, Wyo.

Michael Hammond Jr. was stabbed in Campbell County on April 18, and a family member brought him to Kimball Health Services. The family member Kevin Bolejack was also arrested by the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office. The reason for the arrest is unknown as this time.

Hammond was then transported to Regional West Medical Center for treatment. When he was released, the Scottsbluff Police Department arrested him for the Wyoming warrant that included Attempted First-degree Murder, Strangulation of a Household Member, and Assault.

The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office worked with Wyoming DCI.
