Kearney man sentenced on charge related to sexual assault of child

KEARNEY, Neb. — A Kearney man has been sentenced on a charge related to sexually assaulting a child.

KEARNEY MAN FACING SEXUAL ASSAULT, INCEST CHARGES

Dale Warren, 36, was sentenced to one to three years in prison on one count of intentional child abuse.

Warren pleaded no contest to the charge last month. In exchange for his plea, the charge was reduced from first-degree sexual assault of a child. An additional charge of incest was dropped.

Although the specific details of the crimes are currently sealed in an arrest affidavit, records indicate that the alleged offences occurred between August and November of 2019.
