The newly expanded gift shop at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island reopened Nov. 8.
According to Anissa Paitz, CHI spokesperson, the gift shop expansion comes after a three-month construction project. She said the gift shop has been fully renovated and now features more than 500 square feet of additional space.
“The shop, which had been temporarily relocated during the construction, is returning to its original location just inside the hospital’s main entrance,” Paitz said.
With the renovation, she said the gift shop will now offer a spacious layout, new displays and a wider selection of items.

Hohlen said the gift shop provides support not only to patients but also to the volunteers and the community as a whole.
