Hastings Catholic Schools host their annual dinner and holiday bazaar
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings Catholic Schools prepared a hot and cozy meal for the community along with other festivities.
People of the community gathered at Saint Cecilia Gymnasium for chicken noodle soup, coleslaw, yeast rolls and other delicious foods. Also, the event had a bake, book sale and other fun activities for the families in attendance.
Father Cyrus Rowan said this event been going on for many decades and is about serving the community.
“What makes this event special is the community feel,” said Father Rowan. “Many do come here for the noodles, but it’s just a great time for people come here and see people who they haven’t seen in a while and just reconnect with your classmates and other members of community here in Hastings.“
He also shared it takes a lot of people and preparation for this event to happen every year. He also said he’s grateful for the community supporting the event and everyone who help make the event happen.
