HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Temperatures continued to warm up on Sunday, leading to evaporation of much of the snow we’ve seen fall over the past week or so. As we look at temperatures across the region, we can see that there is still snow left on the ground, and that where there is snow, temperatures are cooler. Temperatures won’t stay cool. With high pressure currently in the region providing clear(ish) skies, we will see temperatures continue to rise, even into the 70s on Monday. From that, we will also see evaporation of snow.

As temperatures cap on Monday that should be the end of a lot of now, but temperatures will start to fall come Tuesday into Wednesday. Low pressure will enter the region around this time, bringing back clouds and even a chance of rain come Thursday, with temperatures likely not getting into the 50s for a lot of us in the Tri-Cities. After that, temperatures will start to warm back up and we should see much of the cloud cover move away.
