19-year-old arrested in decoy operation in Grand Island

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island man is accused of trying to entice who he believed to be a 13-year-old girl, but ended up being a police investigator.

19-year-old Garrett Tadlock is facing felony charges of child enticement by electronic device and two other counts of enticement of electronic device.

According to the arrest affidavit, Tadlock contacted the investigator via social media, who disclosed several times she was 13.

Court documents said Tadlock wanted to meet the 13-year-old for sex and set up a meeting location at the Dairy Queen on South Eddy Street. When he arrived, officers made the arrest.

Tadlock’s bond is set at 10% of $50,000 with his next court date on Nov. 5.
