GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — TheHall County Sheriff's Office said they recorded 91 contacts during the U Drive. U Text. U Pay campaign that just ended. resulting in one DUI, one MIP, 20 speeding citations, and two citations for vehicle racing.
According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, deputies worked 82 hours of overtime resulting in 91 contacts.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) granted the Hall County Sheriff's Office $4,500 for the national campaign. This grantallowed officers to work overtime, focusing specifically on traffic safety.
