KEARNEY, Neb. — The City of Kearney has announced the temporary closure of several downtown streets in preparation for the annual Shrine Bowl Parade, which is scheduled to take place on June 3, 2023. Starting at 6:00 a.m., the following streets will be closed to facilitate staging for the event:
The parade route is set to commence at 11:00 a.m. at the corner of Central Avenue and Railroad Street. From there, the procession will head north on Central Avenue, proceed west on 24th Street, and then turn south on 1st Avenue, eventually returning to Railroad Street.
