LINCOLN, Neb. — A man accused of killing two women in a deadly crash in Lincoln could spend decades behind bars.
Kyvell Stark, 20, was sentenced to 21 to 23 years in prison Thursday on charges of manslaughter and DUI causing serious bodily injury. He pled guilty in September to the charges.

According to Lincoln Police, Stark was travelling west on O Street on May 29, 2022, when he hit the passenger side of a Toyota Corolla.
The driver of the Corolla and her passenger both died at the scene.

The crash caused both cars to enter a crowd of spectators taking part in a Memorial Day event, causing several injuries.

Police said Stark was under the influence of marijuana and had reached speeds up to 90 miles per hour moments before the crash.
