Lotto America is coming in May, the Nebraska Lottery's director announced on Friday.
The game, to begin locally on May 19, will feature 14 states. The $1 lottery game will have a jackpot that starts at $2 million and grows each time it is not won.
“We are excited to add Lotto America to our product lineup,” Brian Rockey, Nebraska Lottery director, said in a written statement. “Many players have asked us to offer Lotto America in the past, and the game fits in well with our existing draw games."
Players select five white ball numbers from 1 to 52 and one Star Ball — numbers from 1 to 10.
To win the jackpot prize, players must match all six winning numbers. The second prize of $20,000 can be won by matching all five white ball numbers. Other cash prizes range from $2 to $1,000.
